At the heart of IAZ is a passion for needlework and the effect that only traditional hand sewing can achieve.
Looking back to a time before machinery and when each garment was made by hand, the IAZ T-shirt uses complex techniques to create a modern and minimalist look.
From the patterned tiles that adorn markets and churches, to the natural tones of the basque landscape, IAZ embroidery is inspired by the shapes and colours found across the country of Spain.
Returning to the art of hand-crafting is not just a benefit for fashion, but also for our planet.
We only get embroidering once you’ve ordered so there is no waste. The threads are 100% organic cotton with no pesticides or chemicals, and only natural dyes are used. All our threads come from Europe so we’re keeping our emissions low.
